43 miles today, 1759 miles down. Still cool with a high of 62. Cloudy but no wind today. It was a beautiful ride thru a state park — lots of up and downs. Traffic was minimal. It looks like home here. The local paper says a fast moving line of thunderstorms moved through the area on Saturday uprooting and twisting trees with some water damage. I’m glad we missed that.

Since I have been riding this trip, I personally know of 3 women who have been diagnosed with new breast cancer — that’s a lot! The preciousness and fragileness of life is held upfront in my mind every day as we constantly look for the unaware driver who shares the road with us.
