I’m getting nervous thinking this is more than just 55 miles. I now really understand that this is an expedition. In the past month, I have:
- Renewed my car license due April
- Renewed my drivers license due May 2
- Rented both my apartments
- Set up bill payment online
- Found someone to collect my mail—you can’t hold mail longer than 30 days
- Submitted an article for publication
- Applied to post graduate school—DNP- Doctor of Nurse Practioner
- Dealt with my mom’s illness
- Bought bike clothes
- Finally bought a ticket home from FL—I had to think about that one—I’m not sure if I thought I would want to come back (The tour has included some thoughts about “Re-entry” into your regular life)
- Made arrangements to ship my bike to CA
- Organized my tax stuff and have impending appointment with the tax service
- Bought my “Road kill ID” bracelet
- Completed my Durable Power of Attorney paperwork
So now, I have spent almost a week exercising two hours a day getting my body ready. IT’S ABOUT TIME!
What’s left?
- Renew my CPR due April
- Gettin’ folks to commit money for a fundraiser
